Playlax Girls Lacrosse
PlayLax is excited to launch a new girls lacrosse program designed to introduce, develop, and inspire young girls in grades 1st–6th. Under the direction of Allison Shields, a lower school teacher at Providence Day, this program focuses on building confidence, skills, and a love for the game in a positive and supportive environment.
Whether your player is picking up a stick for the first time or looking to sharpen her skills, PlayLax welcomes all levels of ability. Our goal is to create a fun, energetic space where girls can learn fundamentals, grow their game, and develop teamwork and confidence both on and off the field.
We will kick things off this summer with drop-in training sessions, offering flexible opportunities for players to get involved, stay active, and improve at their own pace. Sessions will focus on core skills such as stick work, shooting, footwork, and game awareness—all while keeping the experience engaging and fun.
Join us this summer and be part of building something special from the ground up.
Ages: Rising 1st–6th Grade
Format: Drop-in training sessions (Summer Launch)
Focus: Skill development, confidence, and fun
